Gourmet, Dried Mushroom Mix
A gourmet blend of our farm's naturally-grown wine cap (Stropharia sp.) and oyster (Pleurotus sp.) mushrooms--made with only the most tender portions of fresh mushrooms, before being wood fire dried and oven-finished.
Cooking Instructions: Place mushrooms in a small bowl and barely cover with lukewarm water. Soak until fully rehydrated and tender, about 45 minutes.They are now ready to be separated out from the liquid, chopped if desired, and cooked well in your favorite soups, sautees, and the like. Bonus tip: Save the remaining liquid for flavorful broths or gravy!
